ditch volume control
Table of Contents
There are certain things that requires volume control: a little of them do you good, a lot of them mess you up.
Generically, all things require volume control; practically:
- limit of some thing are
not easily reached
drinking hot water, doing zettelkasten, practice skill, little workout(with reps specified) - limit of some thing are really
easily exceeded
casual gaming, streaming video, eating nuts from big bag, sitting on a chair, mindless practice(guitar, piano, anything; there is benefit, just get lost really quickly)
It is advisable to just ditch those activities that easily mess you up, and forget about volume control; and just do those things that do you harm only under very extreme conditions.
1. example
- remove game
- stream app
- put nut in kitchen closet and only eat with the bag back in closet
- standing as default
- practice only with idea and result
