- And therefore it sheds some light into taking supplements/behaviour that may have negative effect on the length of lifespan/endurance of certain activity(being alive, being awake, being energized, focus), to value quality as well as duration.

Learning concepts from papers. low-quality reading time have near-zero contribution to lasting memory, as you don’t remember them, and are not motivated enough to do accompanying activites like review, set lease for review, spawn/capture ideas…
As result, you may spend 2 hours trying to read a paper(very likely word by word, because you are tired and didn’t bothered to take a smarter approach)

Practicing Piano. Actively finding patterns, drill on positions/phrases are only viable options if you are aware of them and aware of what should be down, and aware of the limited amount of progress you can make in a focused session. none of them is available when you are tired and just want to hear/accomplish some thing.
As result, you may spend 1 hour practicing a whole song, while not making it more familiar to you hand, or worse, make mistakes and wrong hand positions sticks.
