As author of idea export, one would use and dicover patterns of words/visual that translate a particular property/pattern of idea into the representation (text, graph).

Awareness of such pattern helps authors to recognize similar pattern and shortcut them to similar ideas of their own, which make them understand those ideas more efficiently.

This could be why authoring discussion improves your ability to understand discussions.

I find out about this after starting to read Nietzsche in highschool. I find many parts of his work tedious to read initially, but after I have written some essays in aphoristic style under his influence, some of them became easier to understand, as I have written similar [terribly confusing and long] sentences in my own practice.

I’d like to say just play more and listen to your playing. That’s where you establish the mapping between what is done with hand and what is heard with ear. It’s like how output patterns works as primitive for understanding with musical expressions, you play more, then when you hear a sound, you know how it is played.

Many may notice the coupling between hand, fingering on instrument and the sound, I personally worship it, I think it is how things should be done, and with practice your hand would be coupled with the sound so much that you hear something in your head and can just replicate it with this hand-instrument-sound function you have wired in your practice.
