activity-based plan and stage-based plan

From general structure of the plan, a distinction could be draw between plans that rely on the abstraction of activity and those that rely on stages.
1. Activity-based plan
Activity-based plans works analoguesly in the whole lifecyle of the plan: by performing activities.
Typically, a list of activities would be present, each of them would contribute to the objective, and all of them would be performed repeatedly thorough out until the objective is accomplished.

2. stage-based plan
Typically, every task in stage-based plan would be done exactly once, and the plan feels a lot like script.
