search pdf in google

- search with
filetype:pdfwould only search for pdf. - adding
site:<url>would search for all visited pdf(with chrome) in taht site.
1. how it works
- enumerating all possible url is not possible; inspecting server what is stored?; search - file could be not linked to any webpage;
- it seems that google knows about files on the server from user data; if you have logged in with chrome/google tool bar or something, it sends link of files you visited back to google. (source: some reddit post)
- which indicates a grey area between privacy and piracy.
