essay as polished product

Essay nowadays are treated as polished product as being main product of academic study, it is used as material for assesment a lot, and we generally want better score, leading to a deception of essay being highly academic/serious/require a lot of work/strick format matter/.etc.

Anyone with the least working habit would very soon acknowledge that for a polished essay, there must be a unpolished first draft. However, they are typically considered not essay, but only draft for it, like the notion of drafting a picture and rendering it.

I myself does not quite agree with this perspectives. I consider draft as another essay, and a new essay is written based on the draft, in that essay as representation of thinking, and that thinking is modified between 2 versions.
